Every sylianka and gerdan is woven by hand, bead by bead, inspired by centuries-old Ukrainian ornaments.
No machines: every bead is strung by hand. One piece takes 8 to 40 hours of work.
Patterns inspired by traditional beadwork from the Carpathians, Podillia and Poltava regions.
Czech Preciosa seed beads, strong thread and comfortable ties, so your piece lasts for years.
Choose the colours, length and pattern, and we will weave a piece just for you.

A sylianka is a wide beaded collar that Ukrainian women have worn since the 19th century. The name comes from the verb “to string”: beads were threaded into lace-like patterns of diamonds, stars and flowers.
A gerdan is a longer beaded ribbon worn by both women and men as a talisman. Every colour and pattern had a meaning: red for love and life, black for the earth, white for purity.

I weave every NamystoCraft piece myself in my studio. I love old patterns, Czech seed beads and long evenings with a thread in my hands.
My storyWe draw the pattern chart on paper or in a graphic editor and choose the colour palette.
Every batch of beads is calibrated so the beaded fabric is even and dense.
Bead by bead, from a few hours to several days of work.
We attach the ties, check every knot and pack the piece in a gift box.
New pieces, behind-the-scenes weaving and customer photos, every day on Instagram.
